Common Fault Causes and Correct Handling Methods of Turnover Shelves

       As core equipment for material turnover and storage in warehousing and production processes,turnover shelves are subject to long-term material pressure and frequent handling friction.Various faults are likely to occur during long-term operation.If not handled in a timely manner,these problems will reduce working efficiency,shorten equipment service life and even cause potential safety hazards.

　　1.Shelf Frame Deformation Fault

　　Frame deformation is one of the most common faults of turnover shelves.It is mainly caused by overloaded storage,uneven material stacking and collision during handling,resulting in bent beams,inclined uprights and sunken layer boards.

　　Handling Method:Stop using the shelf immediately and remove all stored materials.Check the overall deformation degree carefully.Slight deformation can be corrected with professional tools to restore the original frame shape.Severely deformed shelves must be scrapped directly to prevent collapse accidents caused by continued use.

　　2.Connection Loosening Fault

　　Connecting parts such as bolts and rivets of turnover shelves are prone to loosening and falling off under long-term vibration and material impact,resulting in frame shaking and poor stability.This fault is mainly caused by insufficient tightening during installation or lack of regular inspection and maintenance during long-term operation.

　　Handling Method:Conduct regular inspection of all connection points.Tighten loose bolts and rivets with professional tools in a timely manner.Replace worn or slippery threaded parts with new accessories of the same specification.It is forbidden to use non-standard alternative parts.

　　3.Layer Board Damage Fault

　　Layer boards are easily damaged and cracked due to long-term heavy load pressure,scratches caused by sharp material edges and surface corrosion in humid environments.

　　Handling Method:Slight damage can be repaired and reinforced,including filling and strengthening for wooden boards and welding and polishing for metal boards.Severely damaged and irreparable layer boards need to be replaced with new ones of the same size and load-bearing standard.After replacement,check the connection stability between the new layer board and the shelf frame.

　　4.Caster Wheel Fault

　　Mobile turnover shelves often suffer from caster jamming,falling off and serious wear,which are mainly caused by foreign blockages,overload operation and insufficient lubrication.

　　Handling Method:Clean foreign impurities around the casters and check the wear condition.Appropriately lubricate slightly worn casters to restore flexible rotation.Replace severely worn or detached casters with new ones of the same model and ensure firm installation.
